Community Talk & Social - Sharing knowledge, buliding local connections

Local residents, small business owners, and community members are invited to an evening of shared learning and connection.

This event brings together local professionals and community voices to share practical insights on navigating life and business in Hawaiʻi.

Short talks will be followed by an open social gathering, creating space for meaningful conversation and community connection.

This is not a formal conference — it’s a relaxed, welcoming environment designed to share knowledge, meet others, and build local relationships.

Light refreshments will be provided.

Event Agenda

● 5:00 – 5:30 PM | Welcome & Check-In

  • Guests arrive, check in, and enjoy light refreshments.

  • This is a relaxed time to say hello, meet new faces, and settle in before the program begins.

● 5:30 – 5:40 PM | Opening Remarks

  • A brief welcome and introduction to the purpose of the evening —

  • to share local knowledge, strengthen community connections, and create space for meaningful conversation.

● 5:40 – 6:40 PM | Community Talks

  • Short, practical talks from local professionals and community voices, each sharing real-world experience and insights on navigating life and business in Hawaiʻi.

Topics may include:

  • Local business operations and compliance

  • Real estate and property basics

  • Industry-specific insights (such as licensing or workforce pathways)

  • Each speaker will present for approximately 15–20 minutes.

● 6:40 – 7:00 PM | Group Q&A

  • An open question-and-answer session where attendees can ask questions, share thoughts, and learn together as a community.

● 7:00 – 8:15 PM | Community Social & Networking

  • A relaxed social gathering to continue conversations, connect with speakers, and build relationships.

  • Light refreshments will be available.

● 8:15 – 8:30 PM | Closing & Wind-Down

  • A gradual close to the evening.

  • Attendees are welcome to wrap up conversations, exchange final contacts, and depart at their own pace.
